As you know, I am an engineer. Like most engineers, I research everything to a fine degree…Logan Pools looked more expensive than their competitors at first, until we analyzed the bids and saw that other companies left out items and specified poorly rated, low quality equipment to make their bids lower. Furthermore, competitors did not include all the options up front and planned to up-sell us later after the project started. Mike’s proposal was much more comprehensive. Your professionalism is unlike anything I’ve seen…Also, the building inspector said,”These people do great work.”

My wife and I researched and interviewed several of the top pool builders in the Bay Area, and Logan Pools stood out as the best of the best. Mike is an artist and a master pool builder, but he’s also a man you can trust who’s a real pleasure to work with. Mike personally guided us through all phases of the building process, and kept us informed every step of the way, so it was surprisingly a stress free process from start to finish. First class construction and attention to detail resulted in a pool that was beyond our expectations. My advice to everyone considering the installation of a pool: call Mike Logan. Period.

Don't waste your time with amateurs. Mike Logan from Logan Pools is a professional. I had other bids from other builders but none of the other builders could answer all my questions like Mike. He was able to explain why he builds his pool the way he does. I felt like I was being educated and not being sold to. The other builders were so focused on what they could build for what price and it showed in the designs. Logan Pools design was amazing and had all the features that we had asked Mike for. It showed that he had listened to every word during our consultation. I was also impressed that Mike was an award winning designer and was as good at the landscaping as the pool.

The end result was a beautiful pool and landscaping that complimented each other. I must admit that whenever I see another pool I always compare it to my Logan pool and I am amazed at the quality compared to my friends pools. We just completed our pool project with Logan Pools. Mike was wonderful to work with and we enjoyed the process very much. All the sub-contractors were on time courteous and professional. Logan Pools is an excellent pool contractor. Mike Logan is very professional and builds quality pools. We had our pool and spa built in 2002. We have a pebble tech finish with the Care Taker 99 in-floor cleaning system. We have all Sta- Rite equipment. We have been extremely happy with the equipment and pool operation. I had Mike Logan install a variable speed pump about a year ago. It has saved me energy costs. It's also very quiet. I call Mike every few months with a question about the pool. He always returns my phone calls and gives me very good advice. I appreciate that he didn't just build the pool and go away. He has been very supportive. From start to finish Mike Logan from Logan pools was great to deal with. He laid out the entire process and all the costs up front - there were no surprises. When we had questions, Mike was there to answer them. When we had issues (like any large construction project, when installing an in ground pool there will always be issues), Mike was there to solve them. When we wanted changes, Mike accommodated them. Mike is very easy going and very easy to work with.

But Mike went above and beyond just building our pool. My wife and I were redoing the entire back yard after the pool went in and we were having trouble deciding exactly what we wanted. Mike took his own personal time on a number of occasions after the pool was done to meet with us and talk about landscaping ideas, recommending different types of plants and stones, and even double checking the pricing on some of the landscaping bids we received.

I hired Logan Pools to build the pool at my first house in Brentwood over ten years ago. With Logan Pools, Mike Logan and his crew, this was the easiest major home project with which I have ever been involved. From the start to tyhe finish, everything went according to Mike's schedule and with the help of his expert crew, my family and I received the best pool that we have ever had. In addition, at that time Mike and his people also did all of the backyard landscaping for us. It turned out to be one of the best looking yards in the area and also one of the easiest to maintain. I'm so happy that I decided to work with Mike Logan. I interviewed 3 other popular pool companies in the area but not one of them provided the immediate attention that Mike did. Actually the other 3 didn't get back to me until days after i left messages. Mike actually answered his phone! Additionally, although the bids were fairly similar (10K differential), the three components of customer service, products and process to make the pool were VASTLY different. Make sure you find out how long the crew has been working for the company and what the turn over is for sub contracting companies - very important! Pool builders often use many different sub companies for each stage of the process - so know who your dealing with before you sign the contract.

Logan pools only uses truly the best people and products. Working with Mike was like dealing with a intelligent and trustworthy friend. He was incredibly professional from the first phone call, to the very end where we were sitting by the rock fire pit together bragging about my gorgeous pool! Mike was there - literally every step of the way. He personally supervises each job - meaning... he's at the project a lot! Our pool took about 8 weeks, pretty much right on target based on Mike's projections.

The crux of my review - I would have paid a little more (but I didn't need to) to work with someone trustworthy like Mike who made the project affordable AND stress free. His amazing customer service allowed me to be a pleasant bystander or be involved as much as I wanted. He always welcomed my questions and was very patient in educating me through the whole process.

Bottom line, Mike really IS as nice as he seems the very first meeting! This isn't a cheeky ploy to get your business. He is super happy go lucky, feels very blessed to be doing what he's doing combined with attentiveness, timelines and five star customer service.

Mike handled every detail of each stage of the project seamlessly from beginning to end. He really listened to me during the design process & I learned so much about the whole process during those invaluable planning sessions. He was always here early in the mornings whenever his work crews arrived & he checked in on every detail to make sure there was clear direction & communication each step of the way, which made such a huge difference in the process. I was looking to put a pool into my backyard 12 years ago. My wife and I talked to neighbors and others regarding their pool installation and purchase experience. It seemed most of the people we talked to had some sort of major problem when they had their pool installed.

During that process he felt that he could have designed the pool with some improvements.. He talked to us about the design, and mid-install, he added improvements to the pool at NO COST. Logan Pools did an amazing job on our pool and rear yard hardscape. My wife and I gave them our high level ideas and photos for a guideline and they took the rest from there. Our project was complex and detailed but the workmen executed the work flawlessly. It has since been six years since our pool and 12 person spa with rain wall was installed and it works as well now as the first day they turned it over to us.

We contacted Mike in February, 2014 about building a pool, spa and landscaping. Unlike others he contacted us immediately and we met that week. From start to finish, the job was outstanding. I am the 3 rd owner of a home in which a Logan pool was built in 2000. I have lived there for over 8 years and absolutely love my pool and its fantastic design. More importantly though, whenever an issue comes up whereby I need some advice, I've called Logan as I feel that they would be the most knowledgeable regarding the pool. Soon after moving into my home in Brentwood a number of years ago, I had issues with the pool. I visited Mike Logan at his then office on Walnut St. He provided needed information at no charge which saved me from an expensive equipment change.

In the last month, I once again had a problem with my pool which could cost in the thousands of dollars to fix. I contacted Mike by phone. He was happy to analyze my problem, consider problem sources and once again provide an experienced point of view and an inexpensive solution. I don't personally own a Logan Pool, but I swim in one. The rock work, attention to details, lighting, etc. is amazing. It's the most gorgeous way to landscape your backyard. Top quality pool for certain! The owner is a nice guy too!

We bought a foreclosed property in Brentwood that included a pool. I had never owned a pool before and I was quite befuddled on what to do with the green mess that I had.

Although Mike (owner of Logan Pools) had not build the pool, he came over to my house and advised me concerning the proper care of the pool, chemicals, and heater and filter maintenance. He ordered the chemicals, pool tools, and sweeper for me and then came back to help me really understand how to maintain my pool.

I know Mike will give you complete, competent, and personal care and service before, during and after the construction of your showcase pool.

Mike built our pool over 10 years ago. Every person that comes in our back yard says it is the most beautiful pool they have ever seen. They are right! From the two water falls, the custom shape and natural rock work it is perfect. Yesterday workers removing some trees cut the underground wires to our fiber optic lights. One call to Mike and he was on it!! 10 years later!!! Now that is service.

If you want to beautify your back yard, the best way to do is with a swimming pool built by Logan Pools. We chose Logan Pools because their reputation for quality pools and superior customer service could not be matched by any other pool company. We were very impressed with the attention to detail that went into the pool's construction and how hard everyone at Logan Pools worked to ensure that the final product not only looked great but was of the highest quality. We were also impressed with their customer service. We asked many questions before, during, and after the pool's construction and the folks at Logan Pools were always friendly, courteous, and professional. Other companies could learn a lot about customer service from Logan Pools.

Very little time is spent maintaining the pool and a lot of time is spent enjoying it. Having our swimming pool built by Logan Pools was the best home-improvement decision we've ever made.

Earlier this year our family found our dream home. It had all the things we required in a new home and to our delight it also had a beautiful pool and spa. Although we had discussed finding a home with a pool we really did not think we could find a home in our price range with a pool. We also had no clue what it would cost to operate and maintain a pool or how to be sure we were not buying a nightmare.

The first thing we did was insist that we have an inspection done by someone who specialized in swimming pools, not just the average home inspector. Logan Pools was a name I had heard favorable mention of in the past so I called to see if they might have anyone available on short notice. Not only could they send someone, Mike Logan came himself. We were very impressed with the time and attention to detail and overjoyed that he would take the time to answer so many questions from us about a pool we did not even own yet. He explained all of his concerns with the pool, deck and landscaping. He also found and area on the back side of the spa where water intrusion was causing damage to the stone work and could have been creating a sink hole. Not only did he take his time with us that day he went over and above our expectations by going down to the city permit office and reviewing their documents. He quickly found that this three year old pool had never even had a final inspection due to concerns after the initial construction. We never would have even thought to ask.

Due to his extensive inspection and report we were able to get all of our issues resolved through escrow and I am happy to report that it is now our pool and we could not enjoy it more than we do. Our home has become a place where friends and family are always welcome to come and cool off and relax. Being new to pool ownership we chose to stick with the best for our maintenance also. Mike shows up every Monday without fail and takes care of whatever we need after the weekend and gives me clear instruction on what I need to do throughout the week to ensure that this pool is always open.

I would highly recommend Mike to anyone who had a need for a fabulous "pool guy". Whether you need construction, inspection, or just maintenance you will not be disappointed in Logan Pools.

We started using Logan Pools for our weekly pool maintenance when we moved to Brentwood 3 years ago. Our experience with them has always been exceptional. They have kept our pool going strong for 3 years without one issue......HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I'm coming back 4 years later after having Logan Pools build a pool for us. The event that prompts me to come here is that I called them to ask some questions about replacement pool light bulb, and as expected, they called back very promptly.

Yup, after 4 years we are still enjoying our tropical pool and solar heating system that they installed for us. All the equipment is still performing well, the PebbleTech pool still looks as new as the day it was finished, and not a single crack on the concrete decks, spa or anywhere.

We are so glad that we chose them. It is interesting to note that of the 4 other pool companies we considered for the job, 3 of them are out of business today.

About the only issue I can remember having was last year when one of the in-ground cleaning caps broke. Within 3 hours of calling Logan Pools, they called me back and delivered a replacement (for free) on the very next day. In fact, he gave me a spare cap as well.

The ole adage is still true, "You do get what you pay for".

Owning a swinning pool is a big discision. My wife and I decided that we wanted one. We asked friends a lot of question about contractors and any problems we may encounter.

A couple of friends mentioned Logan Pools. So we set up an appointment to have come to our house. They designed a pool just for us.
